Apple Pie Parfait
INGREDIENTS
1 large apple diced
2 tbsp Maple Hill 100% Grassfed Butter
2 cups of Maple Hill 100% Grassfed Yogurt (Plain or Vanilla)
2 tbsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp ground ginger
3/4 tsp cardamom
1/8 tsp sea salt
Unsweetened Granola
Sliced apples (for garnish)
PREPARATION
In a bowl combine cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, cardamom, sea salt. Set aside.
In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the diced apple and toss/coat in the butter.
Add 2 Tbsp of the apple pie spice mix to the apples and butter. Toss to coat the apples.
Sauté apples until slightly soft. Remove from heat.
In a serving bowl (or martini glass) add granola to the bottom, 1 cup of Maple Hill Yogurt (Plain or Vanilla), and warm cooked apples. Finish with a sprinkle of the Apple Pie seasoning and a few sliced uncooked apples for garnish.
