Holiday Cranberry Butter

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Maple Hill Salted butter (2 sticks)

For the Cranberry Sauce:

  • 12 oz bag of cranberries

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

  • 1 medium strip of orange zest

  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 cinnamon stick

PREPARATION

  1. Make the cranberry sauce: combine all ingredients into a medium pot and cook on low for 20-25 minutes or until the cranberries start to burst and the sauces becomes jammy. Remove the cinnamon stick then transfer to a bowl and let cool slightly.

  2. Meanwhile, add the butter to a mixing bowl and whip until it is light and creamy. Add 1 cup of the cranberry sauce and beat again until fully combined and the color is pink.

  3. Scoop into a small jar and allow to chill for 30 minutes or serve immediately for a silky smooth spread. Enjoy!
